Job description
Workforce Health partners with over 400 employers to help them promote workplace health and safety as well as a full range of occupational medicine services within their organization.
Workforce Health is seeking an experienced APRN-Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our dynamic team. We provide services for pre-employment, DOT, work injuries, drug testing and employee safety through in person and virtual visits. This role offers a unique opportunity to deliver high-quality occupational health services while collaborating with a supportive team led by an engaged Medical Director.
As a key member of our team, you will have the autonomy to provide independent patient care while benefiting from the resources and expertise of a collaborative environment within a large hospital system and academic affiliation with the Medical College of Wisconsin. Froedtert & MCW Health is a renowned health system including 10 hospitals, nearly 2,000 physicians and over 45 health centers and clinics offering a dynamic environment for all staff to excel.
* Position has no weekends or holidays. Must work at various locations depending on business need.
Candidates require the following:
- Must receive DOT certification within 6 months of hire
- Need to be trained and comfortable seeing patients 16 or older.
- Need a working knowledge of OSHA requirements and appropriate work restrictions
- Have a basic understanding of state of Wisconsin worker’s compensation program

Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality occupational health services including pre-employment exams, DOT physicals, and work injury management. Collaborate with a supportive team and medical director to deliver care through both in-person and virtual visits.
Requirements
Must be an experienced APRN or Physician Assistant with the ability to obtain DOT certification within six months of hire. Candidates must be comfortable treating patients 16 or older and possess knowledge of OSHA regulations and Wisconsin worker's compensation.
