The Employment Counselor provides individualized vocational support to adults with disabilities by conducting assessments and developing employment plans. They also facilitate job readiness, provide on-site job coaching, and maintain relationships with employers and community partners.
Candidates must have at least a high school diploma with two years of experience in human services or education, though a bachelor's degree is preferred. A valid driver's license and the ability to perform physical tasks like lifting 30lbs and standing for extended periods are required.
