Position Summary

As a School Speech Language Pathologist, You Will

  • Conduct assessments and diagnose communication disorders
  • Provide evidence-based speech and language therapy
  • Develop and implement IEP goals
  • Monitor student progress and collect data
  • Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, and families

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited university with an M.A. or M.S. in Communication Disorders recognized by ASHA

  • ASHA CCC’s or CF
  • State SLP License or in the process of applying for a License
  • Teaching certificate (if applicable) or ability to obtain

Key Responsibilities

The Speech Language Pathologist will conduct assessments, diagnose communication disorders, and provide evidence-based therapy to students. They are also responsible for developing IEP goals, monitoring student progress, and collaborating with families and educational staff.
