Best Medical Center is seeking a compassionate, knowledgeable, and patient-focused Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to provide comprehensive primary care services. The ideal candidate is clinically confident, dependable, professional, and committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive and focused patient assessments, including medical history, medication review, allergies, social/family history, and risk assessments.

Perform physical examinations and accurately document patient findings.

Evaluate and manage acute, chronic, preventive, and follow-up primary care concerns.

Diagnose and treat common primary care conditions, including hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, obesity, thyroid disorders, asthma/COPD, respiratory and urinary conditions, musculoskeletal concerns, dermatologic conditions, and other conditions within scope of practice.

  • Develop evidence-based treatment plans and monitor patient progress.
  • Provide chronic disease management, preventive care, health screenings, wellness counseling, and patient education.
  • Review laboratory and diagnostic results and coordinate referrals and follow-up care.
  • Recognize urgent or emergent conditions and appropriately consult, refer, or direct patients to emergency care when indicated.
  • Perform permitted office procedures consistent with training, privileges, and applicable laws and regulations.
  • Provide telehealth services when permitted by applicable requirements and Best Medical Center policies.
  • Provide clear treatment instructions, follow-up recommendations, and warning signs to patients.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical records.
  • Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to provide coordinated patient care.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and applicable healthcare regulations.

Qualifications

Current and Unrestricted APRN/Nurse Practitioner License

  • National board certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
  • Master's degree or higher from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Current BLS certification and DEA registration/prescribing authority, as applicable.
  • Primary care experience preferred; qualified new graduates may be considered.
  • Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, treatment, documentation, and patient communication skills.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
  • Experience with electronic health records (EHR) preferred.
  • Commitment to patient-centered care, professionalism, confidentiality and compliance.
