Carilion Clinic is seeking a BC/BE, fellowship-trained Cardiothoracic Radiologist to join our growing academic radiology practice in a 100% remote position. Lifestyle-Focused Practice
- Enjoy the flexibility of a fully remote career while maintaining a balanced schedule.
- Primarily daytime coverage (8:00 AM to 5:00-6:00 PM)
- One swing shift (12:00 PM to 8:00 PM) every 3 weeks
- One evening shift (5:00 PM to 11:00 PM) every 3 weeks
- Weekend coverage: approximately one weekend per month
- No overnight responsibilities with dedicated overnight teleradiology coverage
- 50 days of vacation annually
- Up to 5 additional holidays

- Interpret a mix of cardiothoracic and general diagnostic imaging

- Coverage for a thrombectomy-capable Comprehensive Stroke Center
No Mammography Requirements

Academic Opportunity
As part of Carilion Clinic's academic mission, all radiologists receive faculty appointments with the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine.

- Fellowship training in Cardiothoracic Radiology
- Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Virginia

The posted salary range may not reflect the full value of the total compensation package. You are eligible to participate in the Tier 1 and Tier 2 bonus compensation programs to improve the minimum salary. Salary Range minimum of $531,000 annually - $782,000 annually. Historical averages of Tier 1 and Tier 2 bonus earnings are included in the maximum salary.

Key Responsibilities
Interpret cardiothoracic and general diagnostic imaging for an academic radiology practice, including support for a Level I Trauma Center and a thrombectomy-capable Comprehensive Stroke Center. Provide scheduled daytime, swing, evening, and weekend coverage while working remotely, with no overnight responsibilities.
Requirements
Applicants must hold an MD or DO, be board certified or board eligible in Diagnostic Radiology, and have fellowship training in Cardiothoracic Radiology. They must also be eligible for medical licensure in Virginia.
