- Board: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM)
- Licenses: Active Texas license, active DEA with TX address, CSR if needed
- DEA / CDS: Active DEA and CDS required
- Certifications: ATLS and PALs required
- Experience: Residency trained in Emergency Medicine
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients of all ages
- Manage acute medical and trauma emergencies, including resuscitation
- Supervise and collabrate with NP/PAs and other support staff
- Participate in trauma team activations and Level II trauma coverage
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in Cerner EMR
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive emergency medical care and manage acute medical and trauma emergencies for patients of all ages. Supervise support staff and participate in trauma team activations within a Level II trauma center.
Requirements
Candidates must be board certified or eligible in Emergency Medicine and hold an active Texas medical license. Required certifications include ATLS and PALS, along with active DEA and CDS credentials.
