Job Description
Scheduled Weekly Hours: 0
- Performs duties in the Hospital Pharmacy related to dispensing and compounding of medication according to departmental policies and procedures for patients spanning all age groups and cultures.
Required Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience
- Excellent verbal/written skills.
- Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide pharmaceutical care for the age served patients.
- Demonstrates ability to interpret and assess clinical date necessary to provide care for the age of patients served.
- Must be computer literate.
- Must be familiar with pharmaceutical laws and guidelines.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience
- Hospital experience required.
- Knowledge of USP 797, 800 regulations and processes.
- Positive interpersonal communication skills.
Educational Requirements
Bachelor of Science/PharmD in Pharmacy from accredited school of pharmacy.
License/Certification
Current license by Massachusetts Board of Pharmacy.
