Physician Assistant - Advanced Heart Failure and Cardiac Critical Care - Nights - Cornell Campus (Open to new grad & experienced PAs)
NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital is a world-class academic medical center committed to excellence in patient care, research, education and community service. Step into this role and gain experience covering a unique mix of cardiac patients including LVAD and heart transplant.
We're seeking an enthusiastic new graduate or an experienced Cardiology PA for a hybrid position on the cardiac step-down taking care of advanced heart failure patients with cross training into the Cardiac Care Unit. Become a part of our collaborative team and advance your knowledge and skillset by working alongside some of the nation's leading Cardiologists/Heart Failure specialists.
Shift: Night working 12.5 hours shifts 3 times a week with rotating weekend and holiday coverage.
Preferred Criteria
>1+ years of cardiology or critical care experience highly preferred
Passionate about cardiology and critical care
Experience with mechanical support devices (Impella, IABP, VADs)
Required Criteria
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
Current New York State PA license
NCCPA certification
ACLS/BLS Certification
