Job Description

Corewell Health is offering a sign on of $1000 for external hires!

Scope of Work

Provides therapy to patients based on patient need and medical direction. Provides patient/caregiver education and arranges for adaptive equipment as needed.

Standard Qualifications

Master’s Degree, Certificate of Clinical Competence (ASHA) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), ASHA.

Experience in adult/children neurological speech and language disorders, evaluation and treatment, including aphasia, apraxia, dysarthria, dysphagia, laryngectomy, stuttering, and voice disorders.

Experience with head and neck cancer, tracheostomies, cognition, TBI, dementia, and modified barium swallow studies.

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence, America Speech-Language-Hearing Association, (required) or
  • Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
  • Licensure in Speech Pathology-Michigan (required) or temporary license during the CFY (required)
  • State of Michigan Driver’s License – Home Care Line

Requirements

Requires a Master's degree and licensure in Speech Pathology in the state of Michigan. Candidates must hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA or be in their Clinical Fellowship Year.
