Job Description
The Physician Resource Specialist will provide a critical interface between the organization, the clients and physicians, specific to scheduling, housing management, travel and advocacy matters. This individual will work with CardioSolution Leadership, Field Operations, Recruiting, and Credentialing Teams to ensure CardioSolution meets contractual obligations.
Responsibilities
- Creates physician scheduling for hospital clients and physicians
- Maintains professional working relationship with hospital clients and physicians
- Investigates and resolves complaints and concerns in a timely and efficient manner
- Troubleshoots physician scheduling conflicts
- Provides mandatory on call support after business hours, weekends, and holidays
- Maintains physician calendars
- Manages travel itineraries, hiring and welcome packets for physicians
- Coordinates and schedules property viewings with leasing agents
Negotiates Leases and Housing Vendor Contracts
Maintains housing (leases, utilities, housekeeping, maintenance, etc.) and auto reports
Manages and Controls Housing Budgets
- Establishes appropriate rental rates by conducting market research, determining costs, obtaining housing referrals from clients as needed
- Ensures the premises are ready for new occupants (utility, furniture, housekeeping, security, etc.)
- Creates housing and auto policies and procedures, orient new physicians to the property, enforce policies and procedures
- Monitors and completes automotive maintenance and repairs timely and cost effectively
- Manages vendor contracts and implementation processes as assigned
- Improve the consistency of process and procedure execution to the business to improve its ability to deliver quality patient care
- Performs additional duties as requested by management
Requirements and Experience
- Two (2) year degree or three (3) years of healthcare administrative experience
- Two (2) years of customer service experience
- Previous experience working with Physicians preferred

Physical Demands and Work Environment
Ability to use sensory skills to effectively communicate and interact with other employees and the public through use of the telephone, email, video conference and face to face contact
Ability to use manual dexterity, visual acuity and hearing acuity to effectively use and operate office related equipment such as but not limited to a computer, copier, scanner, camera, phone, headset, keyboard and mouse
Ability to sit for extended periods of time at a keyboard and workstation with low periods of reaching and standing
Ability to lift up to 15 pounds at time

Compensation Range
$45,800.00 - $56,300.00
Benefits include: health, dental, vision, FSA/HSA, company-paid life insurance, 401K with discretionary match, paid time off, paid parental leave, and tuition reimbursement.
Requirements
Candidates must have at least a two-year degree or three years of healthcare administrative experience, along with two years of customer service experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills are required.
