Key Responsibilities
- Examine tissue specimens, blood samples, and other bodily fluids to identify abnormalities, diseases, or conditions.
- Utilize various laboratory techniques, including microscopy, immunohistochemistry, and molecular testing, to analyze specimens and reach accurate diagnoses.
- Manage and oversee clinical laboratories, ensuring quality control, adherence to protocols, and accurate reporting of results.
- Collaborate with laboratory staff, including medical technologists and technicians, to maintain efficient and effective laboratory operations.
