Nurse Practitioner (NP)

Key Responsibilities

The Nurse Practitioner will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive psychiatric care, including performing clinical assessments, developing treatment plans, and prescribing pharmacologic interventions. Responsibilities also involve conducting follow-up visits, participating in staffing sessions, and consulting with attending psychiatrists.

Requirements

Candidates must have completed a Master’s Program for Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner from an accredited school of nursing and hold current RN and Psychiatric NP licensure in Georgia. A minimum of three years of clinical experience in a psychiatric setting is required, along with current CPR certification, a DEA license, and comprehensive liability insurance.
