Graduate of an occupational therapy assistant program accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association.

  • Certified with the National Certification Examination of the American Occupational Therapy Association.
  • Licensed Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant by the Oregon State Board
  • Preferred 1-2 years of clinical experience as a COTA.
  • Current BLS for Healthcare Professionals.
  • Must be a licensed driver with a reliable automobile.

Key Responsibilities

The COTA will evaluate and enhance the functional status of patients by assessing home environments and teaching new skills. They will also collaborate with registered Occupational Therapists to develop best practice guidelines and deliver personalized care.

Requirements

Candidates must be graduates of an accredited occupational therapy assistant program and hold a valid license from the Oregon State Board. A current BLS for Healthcare Professionals certification and a reliable automobile for travel are also required.
