Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide cardiac anesthesia coverage for 80% structural cases and 20% pump cases
- Place arterial and central lines, and administer regional blocks
- Cover general anesthesia cases when cardiac cases are not available
- Participate in scheduled on-call coverage (beeper call) as needed
Key Responsibilities
Provide cardiac anesthesia coverage for structural and pump cases while managing general anesthesia duties when cardiac cases are unavailable. Participate in scheduled on-call coverage including nights and weekends to support inpatient clinical operations.
Requirements
Must be Board Certified in Anesthesiology with a valid Wisconsin license and current BLS, ACLS, and TEE certifications. Requires experience with at least 30-40 TEEs within the past year and a clean professional record.
