Fellowship-Trained Interventional Pain Physician

Des Moines Orthopaedic Surgeons PC is exploring the possibility of expanding opportunities for a fellowship-trained pain physician to join our orthopedic care team. We are seeking an enthusiastic, collaborative physician who is interested in helping build and develop an interventional pain practice.

The ideal candidate will be a strong culture fit, committed to high-quality patient care, and eager to contribute to the growth of a practice with access to two adjacent DMOS surgery centers.

Qualified Candidates May Include

• A physician with a medical degree and training in Radiology, including fellowship training in interventional pain and image-guided procedures; or
• An Anesthesiologist with fellowship training in pain medicine and interventional pain procedures.

Candidates Should Demonstrate

• Appropriate board certification or eligibility and current state licensure, or the ability to obtain licensure
• Fellowship training and experience in interventional pain procedures
• A collaborative and professional approach to patient care
• An entrepreneurial mindset and enthusiasm for practice development
• A commitment to building strong relationships with patients, referring physicians, and colleagues
• Willingness to participate in the growth and long-term vision of the practice

Any potential appointment, employment arrangement, or partnership would be subject to approval by the practice, any required bylaws or governance changes, completion of applicable credentialing and privileging requirements, and execution of definitive written agreements.

DMOS is a privately held medical facility. Candidates who receive a conditional offer of employment at DMOS will be required to complete a criminal background check, federal background checks, education verification, reference checks, and an initial TB test. Placement for providers is contingent of active license verification and credentialing.
