Key Responsibilities

• will assist patients suffering from injuries to the elbow down to restore function, relieve pain and prevent disability.

• provide the necessary treatment and care to get patients back to their activities of daily living.

• Develop and plan occupational therapy treatment for patients suffering from injuries, or muscle, nerve, join.

Requirements

• Individual with active license to practice in the state of Iowa as an Occupational Therapist (OR individual completing a degree in Occupational Therapy with the anticipation of becoming licensed).

• Certification. Currently a Certified Hand Therapist or seeking to obtain credentials

• Communication skills. Ability to communicate calmly and professionally to patients and physicians.

• Curious. You practice the art of listening, asking clarifying questions, and avoiding interrupting your patient. Why DMOS?
