The Opportunity

RIPC Medical Group is seeking a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join a growing, clinician-led medical group delivering high-quality, value-based care in a fully outpatient setting. This role offers the opportunity to care for a diverse patient population across the full spectrum of primary care services. You will work alongside a collaborative team with strong clinical and operational support, allowing you to focus on patient care while leveraging modern care models and technology.   • What You’ll Do
  • Provide comprehensive primary care to patients across the full lifespan
  • See 16–20 patients per day in a 100% outpatient setting
  • Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care aligned with value-based care principles

Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and care teams to coordinate care and improve outcomes

Practice in collaboration with physicians in accordance with Rhode Island regulations, including consultation and referral as appropriate

  • Manage an assigned patient panel, including preventive care and chronic disease management
  • Participate in care coordination and quality improvement initiatives
  • Utilize EMR to document care and manage patient records
  • Perform in-office procedures based on experience and scope of practice (optional)
  • Provide after-hours call coverage for your patient panel (shared model may be available)
  • Engage in team-based care and contribute to a supportive, collaborative practice environment

Who You Are

  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program (required)
  • Board certified as a Nurse Practitioner (FNP, AGNP, or related primary care specialty) (required)
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in Rhode Island
  • Active DEA registration or eligibility to obtain (required)
  • Rhode Island Controlled Substances Registration (CSR) or eligibility to obtain (required)
  • Commitment to delivering patient-centered, value-based primary care (required)
  • Strong clinical judgment with ability to manage a broad range of primary care conditions
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Comfortable working in a team-based, technology-enabled care environment
  • Interest in quality improvement and population health initiatives (preferred)

Salary range

$120,000—$130,000 USD

Requirements
