Job Title: Behavioral Health Technician Trainer
Pyramid Healthcare is a national leader in behavioral healthcare. We proudly operate residential substance use disorder treatment centers for adults in Quakertown and Catasauqua. We are currently seeking a Behavioral Health Technician Trainer to support our clients, staff, and facility operations.
The Behavioral Health Technician Trainer is responsible for coordinating and delivering Behavioral Health Technician training, maintaining training records, and conducting competency evaluations. This position plays an essential role in ensuring staff are properly trained and prepared to provide safe, high-quality care to clients.
Location: Quakertown Facility 2705 North Old Bethlehem Pike Quakertown, PA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a. m.–4:00 p. m. Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with facility and regional leadership to identify training needs.
- Facilitate Behavioral Health Technician onboarding and other assigned trainings.
- Review, update, and test onboarding and training materials.
- Coordinate training enrollment, schedules, materials, supplies, and equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of trainee attendance, progress, and achievements.
- Maintain an organized and up-to-date database of training materials.
- Conduct employee surveys and interviews to evaluate training effectiveness.
- Remain current on organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Respond to trainee questions and provide appropriate guidance during training sessions.
- Conduct competency evaluations for Behavioral Health Technicians.
- Participate in workgroups and performance-improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with leadership to address training and performance needs.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling employee and client information.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate degree preferred.
- One to two years of experience in a residential substance use disorder or behavioral healthcare setting preferred.
- Experience providing training, coaching, or staff development preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, presentation, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with facility and regional leadership.
- Proficiency with electronic documentation and standard office software preferred.
