Job Description
What You’ll Do
The Associate Therapist facilitates individual and group sessions with clients, mentors direct care staff, and works collaboratively within treatment teams. Key responsibilities include:
- Facilitating individual therapy sessions within the framework of Newport Healthcare’s clinical model
- Facilitating clinical and experiential group therapy sessions to support healing and connection
- Participating in screenings, intakes, orientations, assessments, treatment planning, and discharge planning
- Attending trainings and clinical supervision sessions to enhance your skills and broaden your knowledge
- Serving as a vital part of your clients’ multidisciplinary treatment teams
- Supporting the team with crisis prevention, intervention, and management as needed

- Master’s degree in a clinical discipline (required)
- Board registered to accrue hours towards licensure in the state where services are provided (required)
- Experience facilitating therapy with children, teens, and/or young adults (preferred)

- Compensation for this role ranges from $61,462-$84,509 per year depending on education and experience.

This position works with clients who are ages 7-11 years old.

Requirements
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in a clinical discipline and be board registered to accrue hours toward licensure. Experience working with children, teens, or young adults is preferred.
