The Nurse Practitioner provides advanced nursing care to pediatric patients within the WIC program under the direction of a physician. They are responsible for supporting pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, and families with children under five in a clinical setting.
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Nursing as an NP and possess current Texas licensure as an APRN-NP and Registered Nurse. Additionally, a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is required.
