As part of a national network of nearly 400 clinics, our locally family-owned center provides top-tier urgent care 7 days a week, equipped with on-site lab and X-ray capabilities.
We are seeking talented Physician Assistants (PA) or Nurse Practitioners (NP) who are committed to providing exceptional clinical care and outstanding patient experiences.
Position Details & Schedule
Employment Type: Part-time with potential for Full-time transition.
Weekday Shifts: 8-hour (9am–5pm), 6-hour (8am–2pm or 2pm–8pm), or 12-hour (8am–8pm).
Weekend Shifts: 9-hour (8am–5pm) or 5-hour (9am–2pm).
Pacing: Comfort seeing 3–4 patients per hour and working independently required.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct patient interviews, review medical histories, perform physical exams, and accurately diagnose acute illnesses and injuries.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including X-rays, lab work, and EKGs.
Perform minor procedures such as suturing, wound debridement, incision & drainage, splinting, and foreign body removal.
Prescribe medications and outline clear, comprehensive treatment plans.
Clearly educate patients on diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up care.
Maintain accurate EMR documentation for all patient encounters.
Lead and collaborate with a support team of experienced Medical Assistants and X-Ray Techs.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education: Master’s degree from an accredited PA or NP program.
Licensing & Certifications: Active state license, unrestricted DEA registration, and current BLS certification.
Experience: Clinical experience in Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, Primary Care, or Ambulatory Care preferred.
