Company Overview
VIP Community Services is a Bronx, NY-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit. They provide integrated clinical, mental health, substance use disorder treatment, and housing services. Their person-centered care model includes an Opioid Treatment Program, an FQHC for primary and pediatric care, and over 400 units of affordable housing.
Position Overview
A CASAC (Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor) is a credential issued by the NYS Office of Addiction Services and Supports (OASAS).
Requirements
- HS Diploma / GED required
- Minimum 1 year related exp
- CASAC Certification
Pay Range
USD $19.00 - USD $35.00 /Hr.
Key Responsibilities
The CASAC will provide integrated clinical and substance use disorder treatment services within a person-centered care model. They will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to support patients in an Opioid Treatment Program and primary care setting.
