Job DetailsJob Location: Basswood Elementary - Maple Grove, MN 55311Position Type: Part TimeSalary Range: $29.80 - $38.46 HourlyMental Health Therapist- School-Based Services People Incorporated Mental Health Services is seeking a Mental Health Therapist to join our School-Based Mental Health Services team.
School-based mental health services reach children in everyday environments. The natural, non-stigmatizing location offers an early and effective environment for intervention.
Also allows for increased opportunity for coordination of care with the therapist having access to children in their school sites with school team. This increases access for busy families and reducing variables that may prevented individuals from receiving care.
Schedule: Part-Time,.5FTE 20Hours a Week.
Hours are usually 8:00am - 4:30pm. Location: Basswood Elementary School: 15425 Bass Lake Rd, Maple Grove, MN 55311 Hiring Range: Salary variable on licensure and qualifications.
Salary below reflects 1.0FTE hiring range. Unlicensed: $29.80 -$32.93/Hourly plus $1,000 hiring bonus for external candidates Licensed: $35.57 - $38.46/Hourly plus $2,000 hiring bonus for external candidates People Incorporated Mental Health Services is the largest nonprofit mental health provider in Minnesota.

Main Job Duties: Developing and maintaining therapeutic relationships with children, parents, and other family members Conducting individual therapy and, as needed, conducting family and group therapies Creating and implementing treatment plans and regularly evaluating the effectiveness of treatment plans Qualifications
Required qualifications: Master's degree in behavior sciences Previous experience providing therapy to children, adolescents, and families Pursuing a professional license in one of the following: LP, LPCC, LMFT, LICSW (Supervision towards licensure available and built into your schedule Preferred qualifications: Current and valid licensure as LICSW, LMFT, LP or LPCC or license-eligible Experience collaborating with school systems and school personnel Proven success collaborating on interdisciplinary teams Previous experience in providing services to children, adolescents and families is preferred.

Key Responsibilities
The therapist will develop and maintain therapeutic relationships with children and families while conducting individual, family, and group therapy sessions. They are also responsible for creating, implementing, and evaluating effective treatment plans within the school environment.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in behavioral sciences and have previous experience working with children, adolescents, and families. Applicants must be pursuing or currently hold a professional license such as LP, LPCC, LMFT, or LICSW.
