TeamHealth is seeking a full-time emergency medicine physician in Jefferson City, Tennessee, 40 minutes east of Knoxville, Tennessee. Tennova Jefferson Memorial treats 24,000 patients a year.
Jefferson Memorial Hospital serves Lakeway area residents, combining technology and a caring, East Tennessee spirit. The hospital's Jefferson City campus was opened in 2001, and the facility underwent a major construction project in 2011 that included renovation and expansion of the emergency room, a new intensive care unit, and enhancements to waiting and registration areas.

Located in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains, Jefferson City boasts two beautiful lakes, Douglas Lake and Cherokee Lake. Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality emergency medical care to patients at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. Manage patient flow and treatment within the emergency department and intensive care unit.
Requirements
Must be a board-certified physician in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine. Ability to work 12-hour shifts in a clinical hospital setting is required.
