Outpatient Counselor Part Time

Join UHS as a Outpatient Counselor Part Time in West Columbia, South Carolina.

Key Responsibilities

• This is a part time evening position. Monday - Thursday from 3pm - 9pm.

• JOB SUMMARY: To provide quality case management and psychotherapeutic services to adolescent patients dealing with psychiatric and/or addiction issues. Support the organization's treatment program and philosophy and assure the deliverance of quality treatment to patients and their families.

• Develops and maintains effective working relationships with NARC, Admissions, the Business Office, Physicians, and Nursing staff.

• Conducts psychosocial assessments to document history and identify preliminary issues for treatment focus by interviewing the patient and their family members.

Requirements

• Job Requirements.

• Master’s degree in Social Work or equivalent master’s degree in a recognized mental health field.

• Strongly prefer one year experience.

• LPC or LPCA in SC strongly preferred.
