Key Responsibilities
- Garfield Park Behavioral Hospital is a leading psychiatric hospital dedicated to providing quality behavioral health services for its diverse population of children and adolescents.
- The Hospital is seeking a Clinical Supervisor to provide individual and group supervision and shared oversight of the psychology training program in both the inpatient and partial hospitalization settings.
- The POLARIS program: Polaris is a first-of-its-kind, inpatient psychiatric unit (19-bed) for sexual and gender minority youth (ages 12 to 17). Polaris provides a place where gender and sexual minority adolescents can receive affirming psychiatric care and help addressing identity.
- Provide direct individual and group supervision to Psychology Department trainees (MA and Doctoral-level students completing practicum and/or internship training), including oversight of trainees’ service delivery via live supervision and review of documentation.
Requirements
- JOB SPECIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to demonstrate competency in the criteria listed in this job description. The specifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability to meet the minimum requirements for this position.
- Education: PhD, Psy. D preferred; MSW, or Master's in Psychology, Counseling or related field.
- Experience: 1-3 years experience in a behavioral health setting. Previous experience providing supervision to clinicians and/or trainees strongly desired.
- Licensure/Certification: Licensed Clinical Psychologist, LCSW, LCPC in the state of IL.
