Key Responsibilities

The Registered Respiratory Therapist provides respiratory care, EKG services, and facilitates sleep studies under physician orders. They are also responsible for monitoring mechanical ventilators, performing arterial punctures, and conducting evidential breath testing.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a current State of Michigan Respiratory Therapist License and NBRC registration. A graduate degree from an approved two-year Respiratory Therapist program and current Basic Life Support certification are required.
