Key Responsibilities

The Occupational Therapist provides necessary OT services to children with functional impairments due to developmental disabilities or injury through examinations, evaluations, diagnosis, and interventions to achieve the highest functional outcomes. Essential functions include creating and revising treatment plans, collaborating with staff and families, and completing all required patient care documentation.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited curriculum and hold a New York State License and Registration as an Occupational Therapist. Required knowledge includes principles of occupational therapy and AOTA clinical practice standards, alongside the ability to perform necessary physical actions for pediatric patient care.
