Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient pediatric hospitalist coverage for call shifts.
- Attend high-risk deliveries and C-sections.
- Manage pediatric patients including newborns in Nursery Level I.
- Perform procedures such as intubation, chest tube placement, central line placement as needed.
- Respond to beeper call within 30 minutes and provide coverage as scheduled.
Key Responsibilities
Provide inpatient pediatric hospitalist coverage, including attending high-risk deliveries and C-sections. Manage pediatric patients and newborns in Nursery Level I while performing necessary clinical procedures.
Requirements
Must be a board-eligible physician licensed in Oregon with current PALS and NRP certifications. Requires the ability to respond to beeper calls within 30 minutes and perform inpatient procedures.
