Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate, treat, and manage occupational and work-related health concerns in collaboration with occupational medicine physicians.
- Conduct patient assessments, determine appropriate dispositions, and coordinate follow-up care and referrals as needed.
- Provide employee health counseling, education, and preventive care recommendations.
- Identify workplace health and safety issues and support efforts to improve employee well-being and occupational health outcomes.
Requirements
- Board Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- Current license to practice as a Physician Assistant in the State of New Mexico.
- Current New Mexico pharmacy license and Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration.
- Two (2) to five (5) years of recent clinical experience in occupational medicine, family medicine, emergency/urgent care medicine, internal medicine, sports medicine, or a closely related field.
Benefits & Compensation
- Salary: $131K - $144K
- CME allowance: $1,500.
Work Schedule
- Full-Time position.
- Weekend coverage may be required.
- Night or evening shifts may be required.
