The Respiratory Therapist will evaluate, treat, and monitor patients with acute and chronic cardiopulmonary conditions while managing mechanical ventilation and airway support devices. They will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement care plans and provide essential education to patients and their families.
Candidates must hold an Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy and be licensed to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia. A Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential and AHA BLS certification are required, with additional specialty certifications needed within 18 months.
