Respiratory Therapist (RT) - Medicine Units

Key Responsibilities

The Respiratory Therapist will evaluate, treat, and monitor patients with acute and chronic cardiopulmonary conditions across various clinical settings. They will manage mechanical ventilation and airway support while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to implement effective care plans.

Requirements

Candidates must be graduates of a CoARC accredited respiratory therapy program and possess at least 12 months of acute or critical care experience. Active RRT licensure in Virginia and BLS certification are required, with additional specialty credentials expected within two years.
