We seek a Per Diem Pharmacist to perform professional duties and responsibilities associated with the processing of prescriptions. Per Diem Pharmacists are classified as temporary employees and work on an intermittent basis.

Pharmacy located in the following clinic: Helen Ross McNabb, 1704 East Broadway Ave, Maryville, TN 37804. There will be opportunities to pick up shifts at our Knoxville and Oakridge TN pharmacist if willing/available.
Pharmacy hours are Monday-Friday: 8AM-5PM. So shift will always be within that schedule.
Primary Responsibilities
- Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners
- Provides information to customers about medications and their use
- Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service
- Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy
- Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy
- Any other usual and customary pharmacy duties

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD
- Available or flexibility within the Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm schedule to pick up shifts
- Current pharmacist license in state of Tennessee
Preferred Qualification
Certified immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 3 months of hire
Willing to cover shifts at further out locations including Knoxville and Oakridge (mileage, drive time, and overnights accomodated)
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).

Requirements
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or a PharmD and possess a current pharmacist license in the state of Tennessee. Flexibility to work within the Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm schedule is required.
