Labcorp Genetics is seeking a US remote based Genetic Counselor to join our team! In this position, this individual will use their expertise regarding hereditary cancer and other adult genetics to support an innovative results delivery tool. This role will support multiple clients nationally.

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8am-5pm local time zone

Job Responsibilities

  • Support genetic results counseling program for hereditary cancer and adult genetics through:
  • Providing results to patients using an innovative approach of genetic results reporting

Providing review of risk assessments and results reports in support of patients undergoing through the hereditary cancer testing process

Be able to engage in professional growth opportunities including abstracts and publications, physician education and other projects

Have access to the expertise of a nation-wide organization of medical geneticists, biochemical and molecular geneticists, and over 100 counseling colleagues

Minimum Qualifications

  • Masters degree in Human Genetics or Genetic Counseling
  • American Board of Genetic Counseling (ABGC) certification or Active Candidate Status for ABGC
  • Multi State Genetic Counselor licensure or ability to obtain it

Preferred Qualifications

2 years or more experience of hereditary cancer Genetic Counseling post completion of Master’s Degree

  • Strong computer skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office

**Pay Range: $85,000 - $120,000 / year

All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.

Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.
