Key Responsibilities

The CRNA assesses patient needs and administers various types of anesthesia for surgical, obstetrical, and diagnostic procedures. They also monitor patient reactions, manage airways, and provide preoperative and postoperative evaluations.

Requirements

Candidates must be graduates of an accredited CRNA program and hold current certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist. Licensure from the Mississippi Board of Nursing or another state is required at the time of hire.
