We are a Level III NICU located in Vancouver, Washington. This is a part-time, benefits-eligible NICU RD position with flexible scheduling, the option for hybrid work, and the potential to transition to full-time hours for the right candidate.
This role offers a unique opportunity to work across both inpatient and outpatient settings, including:
- Providing nutrition care to infants in our Level III NICU
- Following NICU graduates in our outpatient clinic as they transition home and continue to grow
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team caring for high-risk infants and their families We are particularly interested in connecting with an RD who has neonatal nutrition experience and/or a strong interest in this area and would enjoy the opportunity to support infants and families across the continuum of care.

Responsibilities
What You'll Do
As a Dietitian, you will partner with patients and care teams to provide comprehensive nutrition services and medical nutrition therapy that support each patient's treatment goals.
In This Role, You Will
- Perform comprehensive nutrition assessments and identify patients at risk for malnutrition.
- Develop individualized nutrition care plans using evidence-based practice.
- Provide nutrition education and counseling to patients and families.
- Collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Exercise order-writing privileges in accordance with CMS guidelines, state regulations, and hospital policy.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and best-practice development.
- Maintain professional competency and clinical excellence through ongoing learning and development.

Qualifications
Education:
Completion of a Bachelor’s or graduate level degree in Nutrition and Dietetics or equivalent field from an accredited university/college required.
Completion of a Dietitian Internship or Coordinated Program approved by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) required.
Skills
Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal form to patients, public, physicians and interdisciplinary health care team.
- Able to function independently on assigned patient care units.
- General knowledge of nutrient analysis, word processing and spreadsheet software.
- Basic familiarity with computers preferred.
Licensure
Registered Dietitian Nutritionist through the Commission on Dietetic Registration required.
Licensed Dietitian by the Oregon Health Licensing Board of Licensed Dietitians required, or for practice in Washington State, Dietitian Certification through the Washington State Department of Health required.
Must be eligible for registration at the time of hire and pass the registration examination within 6 months of hire (180 Days).
Pay Range
USD $34.60 - USD $49.48 /Hr.
