Job Description
Hourly Pay Range
$21.50 - $32.25 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
Position Highlights

- Location: Warrenville; Corporate Center
- Full Time/Part Time: Part Time (20 hours/week)
- Hours: Evening Shift (3:00pm-11:30pm) Rotating Weekends/Holidays required
- Required Travel: N/A
What You Will Do
Provides initial response to clients reaching out to the hospital. Conducts initial assessment of clients and schedules mental health appointments. Responds to and triages crisis calls. Registers, reviews and corrects patient registration information in the computer system. Verifies insurance coverage and eligibility on all Blue Cross HMOI members
What You Will Need
Education
- Required – Associate’s Degree plus a minimum of three years of experience or a Bachelor’s Degree
- Preferred – Bachelors Degree in a Behavioral Health related field
Certification
- CPI certification within 90 days of start date into position
- Current CPR Certification issued by American Heart Association within 90 days of start date into position
Experience
- Maintain information as highly confidential
- Ability to maintain professional boundaries and willingness to seek supervision
- One year of previous experience in healthcare or a behavioral healthcare setting
Unique or Preferred Skills
Crisis Line or Crisis Intervention Experience
Substantial knowledge base of insurance plans such as commercial, managed care, and capitated plans (Medical/Medicaid/Workers Compensation.

Requirements
Candidates must hold an Associate's degree with at least three years of experience or a Bachelor's degree. Additionally, the role requires CPI and CPR certifications and experience in a healthcare or behavioral health setting.
