The Nurse Practitioner will provide medical and psychiatric evaluations, order diagnostic testing, and implement treatment plans for patients in an inpatient setting. They are also responsible for providing direct patient care, monitoring psychiatric conditions, and participating in quality assurance committees.
Candidates must be a licensed Nurse Practitioner registered by the New York State Education Department with at least one year of experience in mental health and substance use disorders. Possession of prescriptive authority and a DEA number is required.
