Key Responsibilities
The Family Nurse Practitioner will provide direct patient care, including medical examinations, monitoring, and the implementation of medical orders. They will also conduct treatment planning, order diagnostic testing, and assist staff in addressing the medical needs of patients within the inpatient facility.
Requirements
Candidates must be a licensed Family Nurse Practitioner in New York State with at least one year of experience in mental health and substance use disorders. Additionally, they must possess prescriptive authority, a DEA number, and the willingness to prescribe all available Medical Assisted Treatment options.
