Full time (40hrs/week) About Us - Physical Therapy Physical therapists help restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disability for any patient suffering from injury or disease Therapy focuses on improving function, strength, balance and coordination with a goal of improving, restoring or maintaining how an individual functions at work and at home Freeman therapists also teach patients to use assistive and adaptive devices, such as crutches, prostheses and wheelchairs What You’ll Do Independently follows a treatment plan based on therapist/goal directed objectives, delivers/documents are, and provides D/C planning on all physician referred patients.

Supervises and directs the treatment and activity of support staff. Performs tasks in compliance with the professional code of ethics, standards of practice, state/national regulations, hospital standards, and departmental policies/procedures.

Requirements

AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers within 60 days. Current Missouri Physical Therapy Assistant license. Must be able to successfully pass KDADS criminal record check upon hire. Must register with and successfully pass the Family Care Safety Registry upon hire.
