Join Minivasive Pain & Orthopedics as a Physician Assistant Orthopedic in Houston, Texas. Minivasive Pain and Orthopedics is looking for a Physician Assistant Orthopedic to join the team! The Physician Assistant Orthopedic is responsible for providing medical services to patients, inclusive of all functions necessary to provide medical care under the direction of the physician.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducts complex and standardized patient care procedures, which require experience and specialized training that would otherwise be performed by a physician, but which do not constitute the practice of medicine.

• Performs relevant patient assessments and physical examinations and provides appropriate treatment.

• Coordinates, directs, and implements patient’s plan of care.

• Performs minor surgical procedures as delegated by the supervising physician.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in physician assistant studies.

• Recognized by the Texas Medical Board as a Physician Assistant.

• Prescriptive authority privileges through the State of Texas.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certified.
