Occupational Therapist (OT) – Part-Time

Sunrise Post Acute | Banning, CA

Sunrise Post Acute is seeking a compassionate and motivated Part-Time Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our rehabilitation team. We are committed to providing high-quality care that helps our patients regain independence, improve functional abilities, and achieve their highest level of wellness.

As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in evaluating patients, developing individualized treatment plans, and helping residents maximize their ability to perform daily activities and return to their highest level of function.

Position Details

  • Position: Occupational Therapist (OT)
  • Status: Part-Time
  • Location: Sunrise Post Acute, Banning, CA
  • Pay Range: $53.00 - $56.00 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate residents and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.
  • Provide skilled occupational therapy services in accordance with physician orders and established care plans.
  • Assess functional abilities related to activities of daily living (ADLs), mobility, cognition, and safety.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, therapy team members, residents, and families to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Accurately complete all required documentation in a timely manner.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and care planning.
  • Educate residents, families, and caregivers on treatment goals, adaptive equipment, and home safety recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations and standards.

Qualifications

  • Current California Occupational Therapist license in good standing.
  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
  • Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in skilled nursing, post-acute, rehabilitation, or long-term care settings preferred.
  • CPR certification preferred.
