Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform advanced GI procedures including EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, EUS, and flexible sigmoidoscopy.
- Provide hospital service coverage for inpatient/outpatient GI consultations and procedures.
- Participate in weekend backup/2nd call as needed (schedule to be confirmed).
- Conduct patient rounds on assigned patients.
- Collaborate with support staff including RNs and PA/NPs in the OR setting.
Key Responsibilities
Perform advanced GI procedures including EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, and EUS while providing inpatient and outpatient consultation coverage. Participate in weekend backup call and conduct patient rounds in collaboration with support staff.
Requirements
Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology and hold or be willing to obtain a Minnesota medical license. Completion of a Gastroenterology fellowship is required.
