As the Manager of Outpatient Clinic, you will be responsible for overseeing daily clinic operations, optimizing workflows, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering a culture of service excellence. Working closely with physicians, clinical teams, and hospital leadership, you'll play a critical role in enhancing access, quality, and outcomes for the communities we serve.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, mentor, and support clinical and non-clinical staff to promote a high-performing, patient-centered culture.
  • Manage staffing, scheduling, performance evaluations, and employee development initiatives.
  • Foster teamwork, accountability, and employee engagement across the clinic.

Clinic Operations

  • Oversee daily outpatient clinic operations to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality care delivery.
  • Implement process improvements that enhance patient flow, reduce barriers to care, and improve operational performance.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and develop action plans to achieve departmental goals.

Quality & Regulatory Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and accreditation standards.
  • Evaluate and update clinic policies and procedures to support best practices and continuous improvement.
  • Promote patient safety initiatives and quality improvement efforts.

Financial Stewardship

  • Assist in managing clinic budgets, productivity targets, and resource allocation.
  • Monitor operational expenses and identify opportunities for cost-effective improvements.
  • Support strategic initiatives that enhance clinic growth and sustainability.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Maintain effective communication with physicians, senior leadership, staff, and community stakeholders.
  • Serve as a liaison between administration and frontline teams to ensure alignment with organizational priorities.
  • Build strong relationships that support collaboration and exceptional patient care outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Requirements
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Minimum five (5) years of supervisory or leadership experience
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage operations, and drive performance improvement
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Nursing, or a related field
  • Experience managing an outpatient clinic, ambulatory practice, or physician office setting
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations, quality programs, budgeting, and operational analytics
  • Experience leading process improvement and patient experience initiatives
