Job Description

Welcome to the Connective!

Are you looking for a rewarding, values-driven career in the wellness space? A collaborative workplace that also encourages professional autonomy and work/life balance? Are you interested becoming a part of growing company with a big heart? If so, please read on!

The Connective is a female-founded integrative mental health practice with locations in San Francisco and Benicia. We offer compassionate, comprehensive, and client-centered care for children, adults, couples, and families, with a deep commitment to whole-person wellness. We also believe that healing is rooted in connection, and we are committed to cultivating meaningful relationships— with our clients, our colleagues, and within our community.

About the Position

As a therapist at The Connective, you will provide weekly outpatient therapy sessions to a dedicated caseload of self-pay clients. While our practice serves individuals of all ages, we are specifically seeking a clinician with a passion for working primarily with young children (ages 5+), tweens, adolescents, and families.

Our ideal candidate is eager to practice within a private/group practice model while actively engaging as a member of a holistic, multidisciplinary team. This individual values the opportunity to focus on delivering exceptional clinical care rather than managing the isolation and administrative burdens of independent practice.

Please note that The Connective is not a private practice incubator for therapists looking to eventually establish their own independent practice. Our goal is to find practitioners who are committed to becoming an integral part of our wellness collective and growing with our team long-term.

Hours + Location

This is a part-time, in-person position requiring 20-25 hours per week to start, with the potential for full-time growth as business needs evolve.

  • We offer some scheduling flexibility; however, to start, applicants must be available to work the following:
  • Three afternoon shifts (2pm -8pm)

-or- 2 afternoon shifts (2pm - 8pm) + one weekend shift (10am - 4pm)

These availability requirements enable us to effectively meet peak client demand, support the growth of your caseload, and promote meaningful collaboration within our team!

Additionally, all therapists must be available Tuesday Afternoons from 12:00–2:00 PM (to attend required team meetings, trainings, and consultation groups)

Location: On-Site – Downtown Benicia

While some virtual shifts may be accommodated, this is not a fully remote position. Clinicians are expected to see clients in person at our downtown Benicia office, conveniently located on vibrant and charming First Street!
