Job Details: Job Location: LEG UP FARM - Mount Wolf, PA, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Family First Health is seeking a qualified and compassionate Occupational Therapist to provide evaluation and treatment services to pediatric patients. This position will support the development of functional skills, independence, and participation in daily activities through individualized, evidence-based therapeutic interventions. The Occupational Therapist will collaborate with families, caregivers, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team to promote positive patient outcomes.   • Attention to work-life balance ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Complete occupational therapy evaluations and reassessments and document findings in accordance with applicable standards and FFH requirements. Develop individualized plans of care, treatment goals, and interventions based on evaluation findings, patient needs, and professional judgment. Provide skilled occupational therapy interventions consistent with the established plan of care and applicable scope of practice. Monitor patient response to treatment; modify interventions and goals as clinically appropriate and document progress. Provide patient and caregiver education related to therapeutic activities, home programs, adaptive strategies, equipment, and safety as appropriate. Collaborate with PT, SLP, medical providers, care teams, schools/community partners, and other involved professionals as appropriate to support coordinated care. Recommend, train on, and document use of adaptive equipment or therapeutic materials within professional scope. Maintain timely, accurate, and complete clinical documentation and support required authorization, referral, and care coordination processes. Participate in case consultation, clinical meetings, quality improvement, competency development, and continuing education activities. Delegate only appropriate non-skilled tasks to therapy support staff and provide direction consistent with role boundaries and applicable requirements. Maintain treatment spaces, equipment, and supplies in a safe and patient-ready condition and promptly report safety concerns. Perform other duties within scope as assigned. Assess pediatric development and functional performance, including age-appropriate participation in daily activities, play, self-care, school/community routines, and related occupational needs. Implement sensory-based strategies, within professional scope and demonstrated competency, to support regulation, participation, and functional outcomes. Use developmentally appropriate behavioral and engagement strategies to support participation and therapeutic outcomes across a varied pediatric population. Assess, recommend, and train patients/caregivers in adaptive equipment, therapeutic materials, environmental modifications, and related strategies within professional scope. EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND TRAINING REQUIREMENTS Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program required. Current, unrestricted Pennsylvania Occupational Therapist license required. Current CPR certification and other FFH-required clinical competencies/clearances required. Pediatric or community-based therapy experience preferred when applicable to assigned patient population. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES Knowledge of computer software applications (Microsoft Office Applications and applicable electronic health record systems). Knowledge of grammar, spelling, and punctuation as it relates to correspondence and documentation necessary to perform essential job functions. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. Ability to think critically, exercise sound judgment, and recognize when concerns require escalation. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Ability to work in, and respond appropriately to, a demanding environment including crisis situations. Ability to appropriately handle sensitive and confidential information. Ability to communicate in a caring and supportive manner with individuals of all backgrounds. Ability to work efficiently and accurately with strong attention to detail. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, caregivers, employees, volunteers, and the public. Ability to be organized, proactive in follow-up and follow-through, and manage multiple competing priorities. Ability to adhere to all Family First Health policies, processes, and procedures, including Code of Conduct and Workplace Conduct. Ability to articulate and advocate Family First Health’s mission and values. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Mental/Physical Requirements: Must possess the physical and mental abilities to perform the tasks normally associated with this position, with or without reasonable accommodation, such as: Frequent standing, walking, reaching, bending, stooping, crouching, or kneeling during patient care. Ability to demonstrate therapeutic activities and safely handle or move therapy equipment and materials. Ability to provide physical assistance to patients within training, policy, and safe patient-handling expectations. Frequent use of hands and arms for treatment activities, documentation, and equipment setup. Requires vision and hearing sufficient to assess patient response and safely provide care. Potential exposure to disease, infection, blood, bodily fluids, and other clinical hazards; required PPE must be used as indicated Qualifications:

Requirements

Candidates must be graduates of an accredited occupational therapy program and hold a current, unrestricted Pennsylvania Occupational Therapist license. Proficiency in clinical documentation and pediatric therapy experience are required or preferred.
