Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist – X-Ray
VA Portland Health Care System | Portland, OR / Vancouver, WA / Salem, OR | Potential Opportunity
Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for an experienced Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist – X-Ray to provide imaging services supporting Veterans through the VA Portland Health Care System.
Position Highlights
- On-site VA healthcare environment
- Portland, Vancouver, and Salem locations
- 8-, 9-, or 10-hour shifts may be scheduled
- Rotating weekends/holidays may be required
- Occasional overtime may be required
- Opportunity to support Veteran healthcare
Requirements
- 2 years of diagnostic X-ray experience
- Experience operating diagnostic radiology equipment
- Recent X-ray experience in a hospital setting within the last year
- Ability to perform routine, complex, and portable radiographic exams
- Knowledge of radiation safety and infection-control practices
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic and portable X-ray examinations
- Position patients and select appropriate imaging techniques
- Review images for diagnostic quality
- Maintain accurate imaging and patient records
