Navigator RN - Breast Center

Navigator RN - Breast Center at Providence Saint John’s Health Center in Santa Monica, CA. This position is Full-time and will work 10-hour, Day shifts.

Under the general supervision of the Nurse Manager, the RN Navigator coordinates cancer patient care and acts as a patient advocate.

This includes monitoring patients through screening/diagnostic evaluation, assisting them with navigation through healthcare systems, providing education and emotional care supportive to or restorative of life and well-being, and identification and support in the development of programs and services to enhance patient care and support. The RN Navigator also provides education for general surgery patients.

Required Qualifications

• Upon hire: California Registered Nurse License
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• 3 years of Clinical nursing experience as Registered Nurse

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Upon hire: Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN)
• 3 years of Outpatient experience in a healthcare setting
• Oncology experience

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position.  The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
