Minimum Qualifications
1. Possess a Master's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Psychology, Social Work, or Counseling
2. Hold licensure as a Temporary Limited Licensed Psychologist (TLLP), Limited Licensed Master of Social Work (LLMSW), or Limited Licensed Professional Counselor (LLPC) from the State of Michigan.
3. Minimum of two (2) years of experience providing group and individual counseling preferred
4. Must possess and maintain a valid Michigan driver's license and current auto insurance.
5. Must possess knowledge and understanding of co-occurring disorders (mental health & substance abuse) and intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Essential Job Functions
1. Perform a thorough assessment of functional ability related to behaviors of concern, emotional and social needs, the physical and social environment in which consumers work and reside, the relationships individuals have with their parents, staff, housemates, and family, as well as the individual's physiology.
2. Provides analysis of vulnerabilities and any medication effects.
3. Provide evaluation and facilitate psychological diagnosis.
4. Provide information related to guardianship status and individuals ability to make decisions.
5. Participates in the Person Centered Planning activities, when needed, to establish the Person Centered Plan and consult with the circle of supports on professional services.

Develops support plans (e. g., direct individual or group therapy, skill acquisition plans, staff support plans, preventative strategies, etc.) that facilitate a feeling of being valued, the establishment of meaningful personal relationships, the ability to make meaningful choices based on life experiences, and the acquisition of and the ability to practice new

7. Provides individual, family, and group therapy.
8. Provides referrals to community treatment services, Psychiatrist, and other support services.
9. Performs crisis intervention as needed.
10. Prepare, present and serve on the Behavior Support Committee.
11. Provide training to individuals, parents, care givers, peers, professionals, related to the support plan.
12. Evaluates individual progress towards achieving goals as outlined in the support plan.
13. Develops the measure of progress such as charts, graphs, photos, journals, etc.
14. Support plans to include measurable goals and objectives, are time limited and include methodologies

Key Responsibilities
The clinician will perform thorough assessments, provide individual and group therapy, and develop support plans for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. They will also facilitate psychological diagnoses, participate in person-centered planning, and provide crisis intervention as needed.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or Counseling and possess a valid Michigan license such as TLLP, LLMSW, or LLPC. A minimum of two years of counseling experience and a valid driver's license with auto insurance are required.
