About the Role

Join Mt. Spokane Pediatrics as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner – Flexible Schedule in Spokane, Washington. Private pediatric office seeking a part-time or full-time nurse practitioner in an outpatient setting. Ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care to children and their families and excited to be part of an energetic, growing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • will carry out: Health maintenance care, including well-child exams and childhood immunizations Routine developmental screenings Diagnosis and treatment of common childhood illnesses Teaching and counseling of children and their families on issues related to health Caring for children who have acute, chronic, and critical illnesses Conducting advanced physical assessments Prescribing appropriate treatment, including medications Ordering and interpreting lab and diagnostic test results Completing documentation for medical records, updating patient medical chart by posting examination and test results, diagnosis, medications, and treatment in written/computerized manner Collaborating with multidisciplinary team members through making appropriate referrals and consults Sharing on-call duty with other providers Details: · Family nurse practitioner or pediatric nurse practitioner · Call is shared between providers · 1-2 years of pediatric experience preferred, but will consider the right new grad · Hourly wage (part-time), salary (full-time), DOE + production bonuses Additionally we have recently opened Spokane Pediatric Urgent Care, which allows for some weekend and evening shift coverage if desired (optional).
